After reading this, it comes as no surprise that God says, be still and know that I am God!

This is excellent. I’ve been slow studying Genesis all year, and do you know I completely forgot (or missed) that God never *asked* them for a sacrifice? Great theology, and writing, should point people back to the text—I believe that’s the sign that you did something right. Thank you! For the reminder of: how church culture so viciously skews our learning/interpretations of the text, the power of what’s not said (how extensive language really is), and for sending me down a rabbit hole of my own study on sacrifice, and moments surrounding Gods silence.

Bless you! I’ve lately been struggling with the quiet, guilt and shame inducing realization that I rarely hear God. You’ve explained to me that maybe God is communicating in the silence

Man that is a really great thought! I used to wish to be prophesied over every time a prophetic voice visited my Bible college, and sure enough every time I was skipped over… how I read that, was unimportance or insignificance… when all along, this could be seen instead as God’s favor or intention… you are right, we are not kind to ourselves!

Great stuff. Silence is the only language that can encompass God’s Infinite Love. Just remember Jesus’s parable. Get rid of one demon and don’t fill up with Grace, you will have 7 demon squatters.

Zero Gravity does not mean the absence of gravity. Before Silence, make sure you are “Following” in the correct ordered direction. By properly reordering with the Lord’s Prayer. Silence does not mean a vacuum. The Lord’s Prayer makes sure your “Silence Space” is refilled with Grace, not malware.

God Bless, Pray or be prey. 🙏🙏🙏
